Nghe An Provincial Military Command organizes the 2019 Military-Political Conference

On the morning of December 26, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command held the 2019 Military-Political Conference. Attending the conference was Major General Ha Tan Tien - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.

In 2019, the socio-political situation in the province was basically stable, the economy continued to develop, and national defense and security were consolidated. However, the leadership and direction process still encountered some difficulties, and illegal immigration, drug trafficking with hot weapons, and human trafficking on the border were still complicated. The weather was erratic, affecting people's lives....

In 2019, the Provincial Military Command actively and proactively advised local Party committees and authorities and effectively implemented military and defense tasks. Notably, it advised on handling issues arising at the grassroots level, advised on successfully completing the tasks of practicing defense zones, flood and storm prevention, and search and rescue. The military assignment work reached 100% of the target. It did a good job of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in Laos. It carried out mass mobilization work and associated with the movement of the armed forces joining hands to build new rural areas....

However, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Commander of the Provincial Military Command also frankly pointed out many shortcomings and limitations of 2019, and at the same time asked the delegates attending the conference to discuss and propose key directions and tasks in 2020.

During this period, 817 units and individuals were awarded by the Ministry of National Defense, the Military Region 4 Command and the Nghe An Provincial Military Command. Of these, 2 units were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense, 2 units were awarded the Emulation Flag by the Military Region 4. 813 collectives and individuals were awarded the titles of Determined to Win Unit, Advanced Unit, Emulation Fighter and Advanced Fighter by the Military Region 4 Command and the Provincial Military Command.

Also this morning, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command launched a campaign to support and help the poor celebrate the Lunar New Year.
