Nghe An Provincial Military Command and units presented 1,800 national flags to Cua Lo fishermen.
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 27, in Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town, the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Military Command coordinated with the Youth Unions of units and schools to organize the program "I love my Fatherland", presenting national flags and gifts to fishermen in the town.
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Quoc Hung - Deputy Chief of Politics of the Provincial Military Command; representatives of the Party Committee and government of Cua Lo town, a large number of cadres, soldiers and fishermen in the area.
At the ceremony, the Youth Union of Nghe An Provincial Military Command and coordinating units presented 1,800 national flags; 100 photos of Uncle Ho; 220 life jackets; 10 fire extinguishers; 20 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to policy families and fishing households in difficult circumstances; and 5 gifts to students overcoming difficulties.
These are also practical actions of Nghe An youth union members to celebrate the 49th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024) and the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).

The movement "I love my Fatherland" has been carried out by the Provincial Military Command for many years, contributing to strengthening the relationship, solidarity and attachment between officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces, socio-political organizations, businesses and individuals with fishermen; contributing to timely encouragement of the spirit so that fishermen continue to grasp the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, and feel secure in going out to sea and fishing in the sea and islands under Vietnam's sovereignty.


Up to now, the Provincial Military Command has coordinated with units and enterprises to present more than 40,000 national flags and more than 650 gifts worth nearly 1.2 billion VND to fishermen and their children in Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Nghi Loc districts and Cua Lo town.
