Politburo approves personnel for Tuyen Quang and Yen Bai

The Politburo approved Mr. Pham Duy Cuong as Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee and Mr. Chau Van Lam as Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Ngoc Lam announced the Politburo's decision on the transfer and assignment of Party Central Committee members.

Accordingly, Mr. Do Van Chien stopped participating in the Provincial Party Executive Committee, stopped holding the position of Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Chairman of the Ethnic Committee.

At the same time, the decision to approve the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2010-2015 term for Mr. Pham Duy Cuong, born in 1958, hometown Hanoi, Master of Business Administration. Previously, Mr. Cuong was Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee.

On the same afternoon, at the meeting of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee To Huy Rua presented the Politburo's decision on assigning former Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Sang Vang as Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Committee; the Politburo's decision approving the position of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Secretary for Provincial Chairman Chau Van Lam.

Mr. Chau Van Lam was born in 1967, from Na Hang district (now Lam Binh district), Tuyen Quang province, Tay ethnic group. He has a Master's degree in Business Administration.
