The Politburo assigned Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh to hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee.

On the morning of July 6, at the headquarters of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, Politburo member and Head of the Central Organizing Committee Pham Minh Chinh presented the Politburo's Decision appointing Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh to join the Provincial Party Committee, join the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.

Mr. Khanh is currently an alternate member of the Party Central Committee. Before going to Ha Giang to take up his new position, Mr. Khanh held the positions of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province.

Previously, the Politburo assigned Mr. Trieu Tai Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission.

Mr. Dang Quoc Khanh was born in 1976, in Tien Dien commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province. He has a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a PhD in Urban and Construction Management.

He has held the following positions: Deputy Head, Head of Planning and Architecture Department, Ha Tinh Department of Construction; Deputy Director and then Director of Ha Tinh Department of Construction; Secretary of Nghi Xuan District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee.
