The Provincial Military Command implements tasks for the last six months of the year.

(Baonghean.vn) –On the morning of July 29th, the Provincial Military Command held a military-political conference to implement the conclusions of the Provincial Military Party Committee on the performance of military and national defense tasks and Party building work for the last six months of 2013. Attending the conference were comrades Ho Duc Phoc – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and Major General Tran Huu Tuat – Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.

At the conference, delegates discussed and proposed solutions to successfully implement national defense, military, and Party building tasks in the last six months of the year. Accordingly, the Provincial Military Command will continue to maintain combat readiness, be ready to mobilize forces for flood and storm prevention, search and rescue, and maintain political security and social order. They will organize combat readiness training for all personnel according to plan. They will direct the successful implementation of the second phase of military recruitment and troop deployment, ensuring quality targets are met. Emphasis will be placed on building up the militia and self-defense forces, and closely managing forces at the grassroots level to be ready to perform tasks in the new situation. They will also advise on the implementation of the task of searching for and excavating the remains of martyrs during the 2013-2014 dry season. Furthermore, they will ensure good logistics, weapons, and equipment to support combat readiness, flood and storm prevention, and search and rescue missions.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Ho Duc Phoc – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee – highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command in carrying out military and national defense tasks and Party building in the first six months of 2013. The Provincial Party Secretary also informed the officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces about the socio-economic situation, security and defense, and investment attraction efforts in the province during this period.
