The Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command review preparations for the arrangement and adjustment of local military agencies.

Attending the conference were Colonel Nguyen Ky Hong - Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command; Colonel Tran Trung Quang - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Heads of the Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command; Heads of Departments and Offices of the 2 units.

At the meeting, delegates heardProvincial Military Commandand the Provincial Border Guard Command reported the results of preparations for organizing local military forces in accordance with the two-level local government model and after the merger.

Accordingly, based on the direction of the Military Region Command and the Border Guard Command, the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Border Guard Command have proactively reviewed the organization and staffing, perfected the command organization system, and developed plans to arrange and deploy staff and facilities in accordance with new mission requirements.

The units have done a good job of ideological work, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of officers and soldiers, especially those in the post-merger work arrangement and transfer; at the same time, thoroughly grasping the policies and orientations of the Party, State and Ministry of National Defense, creating high consensus within the units.

At the meeting, leaders and commanders of the units discussed and clarified a number of key contents such as the plan to organize provincial military agencies in the context of merging two units, adjusting the local defense posture associated with solid defense areas.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Commander of the Provincial Military Command and Colonel Nguyen Cong Luc - Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command acknowledged and highly appreciated the proactive and responsible spirit of agencies and units in implementing the contents of preparing to reorganize local military agencies. At the same time, they requested that in the coming time, agencies need to continue to carefully review, ensure that no negligence occurs in the process of organizing local military agencies; strengthen political and ideological education, ensure internal stability and high combat readiness in all situations.

Colonel Dinh Bat Van and Colonel Nguyen Cong Luc also emphasized that building a strong and comprehensive armed force with a reasonable organization and staffing, ready to meet the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation is a long-term task of strategic significance. Agencies and units continue to closely monitor, direct, and accompany units to successfully implement the process of transforming the local government and military organization model under the direction of the Central Government and the Ministry of National Defense.
