During their visit to extend New Year greetings at the Provincial Military Command Headquarters, the delegations from Vientiane and Hua Phan provinces highly appreciated the achievements of the Nghe An Provincial Military Command Headquarters in the past period and sent wishes for good health and a prosperous New Year to all officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces. They also expressed their hope that the friendly, cooperative, and strong relationship, the solidarity between the two countries and two peoples, and the special relationship between Vientiane, Hua Phan, and Nghe An provinces will forever remain vibrant and enduring.

In particular, over the past period, the three provinces have coordinated well in carrying out the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who died in the neighboring country. Looking ahead, both sides agreed to continue strengthening friendly cooperation and solidarity, enhancing the exchange of information and experience in local development, building militia forces, maintaining weapons and equipment, and promoting twinning programs between localities on both sides of the border.
