The Party Committee and the Ministry of Industry and Trade are seriously implementing the Conclusion of the Central Inspection Committee and will have an official announcement.

Regarding the handling of the Central Inspection Committee's conclusion on the violations of Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa, at the press conference of the Ministry of Industry and Trade on July 14, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said that on the afternoon of July 13, the Central Inspection Committee had a meeting with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

At this meeting, the Central Inspection Committee announced the conclusions during his tenure as Party Secretary, Director of Dien Quang Lamp Company, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of Dien Quang Lamp Joint Stock Company (January 2004 - May 2010).

“The Central Inspection Committee believes that disciplinary action is necessary. Currently, the Party Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Party cell where comrade Ho Thi Kim Thoa works are seriously implementing the Central Inspection Committee's Conclusion and will announce disciplinary action as soon as possible,” said Deputy Minister Do Thang Hai.

Previously, at the 15th Session, the Central Inspection Committee concluded on 4 violations against Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoa, member of the Party Executive Committee, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade.

Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoa violated the order and procedures in the equitization of enterprises, was slow to report, did not organize the handover between state-owned enterprises and joint-stock companies according to the provisions of law; did not report to the Ministry of Industry (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade) for handling and improperly handled the amount of loan interest exempted by the bank of 6.7 billion VND.

Ms. Thoa did not properly and fully perform the procedures according to the regulations and decisions of the State on land management during the process of Dien Quang Company signing the contract and appendix of the contract on investment cooperation at the land plot No. 12 Ton Dan, Ho Chi Minh City with Constrexim Company - Ministry of Construction, without the approval and consent of the owner and competent authorities. She did not report to competent authorities for handling and improperly handled the revenue of 30 billion VND from the transfer of the right to exploit and use the land plot No. 12 Ton Dan.

Deputy Minister Ho Thi Kim Thoa purchased shares in excess of the prescribed amount; transferred shares not in accordance with the Company's Charter. The transfer of the State's capital contribution to Dien Quang Investment and Trading Company Limited without reporting or asking for the owner's opinion is a violation of regulations on State capital management in enterprises.

At the same time, for a long time, Ms. Thoa repeatedly declared her assets and income incorrectly and incompletely according to regulations on asset and income declaration, violating regulations on what party members are not allowed to do.

The Central Inspection Committee requested that the violations and shortcomings of Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoa were serious enough to warrant disciplinary action./.
