Border guards help border villagers build concrete roads
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 16 and 17, the Management Board of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) coordinated with forces and people of Pieng Lang village (Nam Giai commune, Que Phong) to build a concrete road with a length of nearly 1km.
Pieng Lang is a village bordering Vietnam - Laos, nearly 10 km from the commune center. The road to the village is mainly dirt road, making it very difficult for people to travel, especially in the rainy season.

The newly built road through the most difficult areas is over 1,000m long, the road surface is poured with 20cm thick concrete, 2m wide. The investment source for the road is over 120 million VND from the Management Board of Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, Hanh Dich Border Post and businesses supporting 5 tons of cement, together with people contributing labor days, sand and gravel to implement.
