(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 20th, the delegation attending the 10th Party Congress of the Border Guard Command of Nghean province, term 2015-2020, laid wreaths and reported their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square.

Colonel Nguyen Van Tuy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province, reported to Uncle Ho about the achievements that the Party Committee of the Nghe An Border Guard Command had strived to achieve during the past term.
For five consecutive years, the Party Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command has been classified as strong by the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee. From 2010 to the present, the Nghe An Border Guard Command has been awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Government, the Ministry of National Defense, the Border Guard Command Headquarters, and the People's Committee of Nghe An Province. The Anti-Drug Crime Prevention Department was awarded the Order of Military Merit and the Order of National Defense, Second Class; the Political Department was awarded the Order of National Defense, Third Class; and the Thong Thu Post, Tri Le Post, Team K, and one individual were awarded the Order of Military Merit, Third Class. Notably, on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the force's tradition (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2014), the Nghe An Border Guard Command was honored to receive the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces for the second time and was honored in the "Glory of Vietnam" program.
