(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 11, the Nghe An Border Guard Command and the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port (Cua Lo town) held a ceremony to launch the Spring Tree Planting Festival 2019.

Attending were officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station and teachers and students where the unit is located.

Responding to the Tree Planting Festival initiated by Uncle Ho 59 years ago, every year, when Spring comes, Nghe An Border Guard launches a campaign for all officers and soldiers to participate. Implementing the motto "plant a tree, that tree will live", at the launching ceremony, more than 1,000 trees including fruit trees such as mango, star apple... were planted by officers, soldiers of the unit, teachers and students in the campus of the Border Guard Station of Cua Lo - Ben Thuy Port, contributing to creating a green - clean - beautiful environment for the unit.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Border Guard Command launched a campaign for all officers and soldiers of units on the two border lines of the province to plant at least two trees each, in association with the movement to build a regular, green - clean - beautiful unit./.
