Quang Binh Border Guards chase away 6 Chinese fishing boats violating Vietnam's sovereignty
Six Chinese fishing vessels illegally fishing deep into Vietnamese waters were successfully chased away by the Quang Binh Border Guard.
On April 8, news from the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard said that the Quang Binh Provincial Border Guard Squadron 2 had successfully chased away 6 Chinese fishing boats that had violated deep into Vietnamese waters.
Previously, on April 7, the Quang Binh Border Guard force received information that a group of 6 Chinese fishing boats were fishing at the coordinates 17037' North latitude, 106054' East longitude.

This series of Chinese fishing vessels fished about 19 nautical miles east of Nhat Le estuary, about 24 nautical miles east-southeast of Gianh estuary, about 19 nautical miles from the western boundary of the common fishing area, deep in the waters of Quang Binh province.
After verifying that these Chinese vessels were fishing illegally deep into Vietnamese waters, the Quang Binh Border Guard Squadron 2 deployed forces to closely follow the fishing vessels and successfully approached and controlled them after more than a day at sea.
Through inspection, it was determined that there were 28 Chinese fishermen and 6 fishing boats. The six fishing boats have registration numbers Quynh Dan Ngu 17318, 05259, 05029, 05088, 12023, 05018, all of which are engaged in bottom fishing.

It is worth mentioning that all 6 fishing boats and 28 Chinese fishermen did not have any identification documents.
Not only that, these fishermen also showed uncooperative attitudes, disregarding the inspection, control and warnings of the Quang Binh Border Guard.
It is known that the patrol force has drawn up a record of the violation, marked the coordinates of the violation, warned and organized the release of 6 Chinese fishing boats from Vietnamese waters.
