The Ministry of Education and Training announced the list of handheld calculators allowed in high school graduation exam rooms and university and college entrance exam rooms in 2013.

According to the Regulations on High School Graduation Exams and the Regulations on University and College Admissions, handheld calculators allowed in the examination room are those that: Do not have text editing functions (such as note-taking, phone number recording, etc.); Do not have additional memory cards inserted.

A specific list of common handheld calculators (capable of performing arithmetic, trigonometric and advanced calculations) that meet the above basic requirements includes:

Casio FX 95, FX 220, FX 500A, FX 500 MS, FX 500 ES, FX 500VNPlus, FX 570 MS, FX 570 ES, FX 570 ES Plus and FX 570 VN Plus;

VinaCal 500MS, 570 MS, 570 ES Plus and 570 ES Plus II;

Vietnam Calculator VN-500RS, VN 500 ES, VN 500 ES plus function, VN 570 RS, VN 570 ES and VN-570ES Plus

Sharp EL 124A, EL 250S, EL 506W, EL 509WM;

Canon FC 45S, LS153TS, F710, F720; and equivalent computers.

It is known that the 2013 high school graduation exam will be held on June 2, 3 and 4, 2013./.
