Ministry of Education and Training proposes investigation into distortion of textbook materials
The Ministry of Education and Training recently requested that authorities investigate and clarify the responsibilities of individuals and organizations that posted distorted content about textbook materials.
Recently, on social networks, there has been a lot of information circulating about some content that is said to be textbook material such as: "Pounding rice to cook rice", "Splashing", "Brave An", "Baby helps mother carry", "Drawing something difficult",...
Each post with a picture described as a book page with these documents, after being shared, attracted a lot of attention and comments from netizens.
Many people have made comments criticizing the education sector for including these materials in new textbooks according to the 2018 General Education Program.

However, recently, the Ministry of Education and Training confirmed that these are contents that are not included in textbooks being used for teaching in schools.
The Ministry of Education and Training said it has also asked relevant authorities to investigate the origin of the above information, and clarify the responsibilities of individuals and organizations that posted and distorted it.
Currently, the new textbooks according to the 2018 General Education Program include 3 sets: Connecting knowledge with life, Creative horizons, and Kite, and will be put into use from the 2020-2021 school year.
