The Ministry of Education outlines 3 "golden notes" when candidates register for university entrance exams and admissions
Candidates registering for the exam or preliminary selection must use a unified identity card or citizen identification card when registering for the exam or preliminary selection.
RulesThe 2018 national high school exam remains stable as in 2017. Accordingly, the registration period for the 2018 national high school exam and university and college admissions starts from April 1 to April 20. Candidates will register for the exam and be admitted at the place of study.
After April 20, candidates are not allowed to change their exam scores and information about the registered exams/subjects.

To avoid unfortunate mistakes like the 2017 admission season, Deputy Director of the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment, Ministry of Education and Training - Associate Professor Tran Van Nghia said that candidates need to pay attention to the following points:
The firstWhen registering for the exam, candidates must have an identity card (or citizen identification card).
In case of no ID card/citizen identification card, the exam management software will assign the candidate a 12-character code for management.
Candidates who want to adjust their university, college, or intermediate school admission wishes must register their phone number and email when registering for the exam.
Note: Candidates registering for the exam, especially candidates registering for the preliminary round, must use their identity card or citizen identification card when registering for the exam and the preliminary round.
Monday, learning from the 2017 national exam, many candidates incorrectly declared their priority status, and when the university checked their records, they did not have enough points to pass, and no longer had the opportunity to enter their favorite major.
Therefore, in the 2018 admission season, if any candidate knows for sure which priority status he/she is in, then declare it as such.
If you are not sure, you should ask your teachers, the school where you study, or even the Department of Education and Training to get the most accurate information before filling in the application form.
Tuesday, just like in 2017, this year, the admission registration process is parallel to the exam registration process and candidates can register an unlimited number of wishes, and all wishes are considered equally.
However, Associate Professor Tran Van Nghia advised: "It is best for candidates to choose 6-8 wishes, but they need to pay attention to the order of priority when placing their wishes.
Preferred majors are placed first to ensure that admission to majors that match abilities and interests is guaranteed.
