Ministry of Education talks about candidates having to resubmit National High School Exam papers
The Ministry of Education and Training requires students to submit their test papers and scratch paper so that they can focus on the subject they are taking and not lose focus by reviewing the subject they took before.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just organized a survey of the 2017 National High School Exam for 12th graders at schools and continuing education centers in districts, towns, and cities...
In this survey, many students expressed their concerns about having to submit their exam papers and scratch paper to the invigilator after the first and second exams. This made it difficult for them to review the exam papers, test their knowledge, and predict their exam scores to choose a university that suits their abilities.

In response to students' concerns and worries, to further explain the above regulation, Dr. Sai Cong Hong - Deputy Director of the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment (Ministry of Education and Training) said that the Ministry of Education and Training's regulation that students must return the test papers and scratch paper after finishing the first and second exam subjects in the combined exam session is to make students focus on doing the exam in the subject they are taking, not losing focus by reviewing the previous exam subjects. The Ministry does not require candidates to return the test papers and scratch paper for the last exam subject.
For example, in the exam for the Natural Science group (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), if students leave the test papers and scratch paper, they can focus their time on taking the exams for university admission, rather than focusing on taking the other exams.
Dr. Sai Cong Hong affirmed that after the combination test is completed, the Ministry of Education and Training will immediately publish the test questions and answers on the Ministry's website so that candidates can review the test questions, compare results, predict test scores and use that as a basis to choose a university that is suitable for the score they have achieved. Therefore, candidates need to focus on taking the tests to get good results./.
