Ministry of Education and Training requires announcement of new grade 1 textbook prices before February 15, 2020
The Ministry of Education and Training requires publishers and Departments of Education and Training to have appropriate forms to provide textbooks in a timely manner, creating conditions for educational institutions, teachers, and parents to have early and complete access to make book selections.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training requests that publishers have appropriate forms to provide textbooks to localities in a timely manner, creating favorable conditions for general education institutions, teachers, and parents to access information about books quickly, economically, effectively, and fully in all subjects to make selections.
The plan to deploy the provision of grade 1 textbooks to localities by publishers must be implemented urgently and reported to the Ministry before January 15, 2020.
At the same time, the Ministry also requested to urgently carry out procedures to promptly announce the price of each grade 1 textbook so that general education institutions and localities have full information when organizing the selection of books. The announcement of the price of grade 1 textbooks must be completed before February 15, 2020.

In addition, the Departments of Education and Training advise the People's Committees of provinces and cities to develop plans, arrange resources, and have appropriate forms to provide timely and sufficient textbooks to educational institutions to carry out the selection of books.
The official dispatch of the Ministry of Education and Training also clearly stated that during the implementation process, if there are any problems, the departments as well as publishers and schools need to promptly report to the Ministry for solutions.
