The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs is conducting a consultation process to gather opinions on amending the Constitution.
The Ministry will finalize the report summarizing the comments on the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution and submit it to the Ministry of Justice before March 10, 2013.
On the morning of February 5th, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs held a conference to gather feedback from officials, employees, and workers on the draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Pham Thi Hai Chuyen, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, stated: The process of soliciting opinions on the draft amendment to the 1992 Constitution was carried out through various appropriate forms; democratically, transparently, and creating favorable conditions for all officials, civil servants, and workers to participate and responsibly contribute to the quality and effectiveness of the amendment of the 1992 Constitution.
The Ministry will also organize consultations to gather feedback from experts, scientists, socio-professional organizations, and businesses on areas within its purview.
According to the plan, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs will complete the report summarizing the contributions to the Draft Amendment to the 1992 Constitution and submit it to the Ministry of Justice before March 10, 2013.
Minister Pham Thi Hai Chuyen emphasized: Studying and participating in the Draft Amendment to the 1992 Constitution is a major political activity. The Ministry has determined that in the first quarter, it will focus intensely on research and thorough understanding according to the roadmap to participate in the constitutional amendment process. In addition to their professional work, each individual needs to recognize their responsibility to contribute to the constitutional amendment process.
