Russian Foreign Ministry comments on allegations of interference in upcoming US elections
Moscow has never interfered, does not interfere and will not interfere in the US elections - that is the statement of Mr. Georgy Borisenko - Director of the North American Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Russian diplomat stressed that the accusations of "Russian interference" are blatant lies. He regretted that relations between Russia and the United States had become "hostage to the struggle between the two main American parties."
Mr Borisenko said that Washington regularly demanded confirmation that Moscow would not interfere in the US election.
"We have repeatedly stressed that Russia has never interfered, does not interfere and will not interfere in the US elections. We believe that the election process is entirely the business of the American people. It is the US that likes to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries. They must be "judging others by themselves", so they try to label us," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry's department.
