Russian Foreign Ministry responds to US ambassador's threatening words
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said: Russia regrets that the language of threats and sanctions has become characteristic of the United States. Moscow calls on Americans, including Ambassador Jon Huntsman, to learn more about Russian history.
Earlier, Mr. Huntsman threatened Russia with two US aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean. According to him, each aircraft carrier is "one hundred thousand tons of international diplomacy" and "demonstrates to Russia that if it truly wants better relations with the United States, Moscow must stop destabilizing the world."

“I would like to remind you, Mr. Ambassador, that Russia throughout its centuries-long history has repeatedly faced similar threats, which were presented as recommendations. And in fact, we have repeatedly proven their unfoundedness… Perhaps you want us to have another holiday, so that our people can celebrate? Honestly, we have no such plans at the moment.”
In addition, the State Department representative invited the US Ambassador, "while still here", to visit the “Patriot” park in Podmoskovye and study the project of the church of the Russian Armed Forces, with steps cast from Hitler's spoils of war machinery and equipment.
