According to him, Russia acts in the region in full compliance with all its obligations.
"That is, we escort ships and warships without trying to cause any problems," the Russian diplomat said, assessing that Ukraine was provoking the situation with hostile rhetoric and "nonsensical" statements.
He noted that Russia will check claims about Ukraine's increased military presence in the Sea of Azov."First of all, we must understand the seriousness of this intention. Recently, we often hear statements from separate political figures from Kiev, the content of which contradicts each other," Mr. Karasin added.
He stressed that Russia is having problems "with an increasingly unpredictable partner, the current Maidan government."
Earlier, Kiev announced that Ukraine plans to create a military base in the Azov Sea to ensure the security of maritime traffic.
