Also at the press conference, answering a reporter's question about the implementation of the UN Security Council's embargo on North Korea, Ms. Le Thi Thu Hang said: "Vietnam always strictly complies with the UN Security Council's resolutions, including those related to North Korea."
The Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized: "Vietnam strictly complies with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, including the resolution related to North Korea."
Previously, on September 17, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said that North Korea's missile launch over Japanese airspace violated UN resolutions and increased regional tensions.
Vietnam's stance is to consistently support all efforts to promote dialogue and maintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula; call on all parties to strictly comply with relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and take constructive and practical actions, contributing to maintaining peace, security and stability in the region and the world.
