"In cases of wrongly appointing relatives, the decision will be revoked, dismissed or reassigned" is the content affirmed by the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs at the press conference. |
Mr. Thang affirmed: “In cases of wrong appointment, the decision will be revoked, dismissed or reassigned depending on the case. The most important thing in appointment is that any citizen, except those prohibited by law, if they meet the criteria and conditions, follow the procedures and meet the job requirements is important.”
Discussing further with the press about the progress of drafting the Regulation on Disciplinary Actions for Retired Officials, which the Ministry was assigned by the Government to do in order to create a consistent legal basis that can impose administrative sanctions on civil servants even when they have left the state agency, Mr. Thang said that the Ministry of Home Affairs is actively establishing a drafting committee to participate in drafting the regulation and submitting it to the National Assembly for consideration.
First of all, it is necessary to reach an agreement to submit to the National Assembly for approval on the form of the document to be issued, whether it is a new law or a law amending and supplementing the Law on Cadres, Civil Servants, and Public Employees or another type of legal document. The approach is how to ensure strict and fair treatment of cadres, even when they have retired.
"The Ministry of Home Affairs is actively implementing this work. When it is completed, information will be provided to the press," said Mr. Thang.
