Serving both as a writing pad and a data transfer tool, Datastickies will satisfy those who are too busy to search for their USB drive for work.
The new data storage device, called Datastickies, is the product of designer Aditi Singh and professor Parag Anand from New Delhi, India.
Datastickies are designed with a structure of extremely thin, stacked drives. They look no different from sticky notes and can be easily attached and removed.
Use Datastickies by sticking them to the front of your computer, TV, or smartphone. Data is transferred from the source device to the Datastickies thanks to their special adhesive.
Datastickies are known to be made from graphene – a super-strong conductive material made from carbon atoms.
Scientists are still researching and will produce different sizes of "sticky USB drives" ranging from 2GB up to 32GB.
Designer Aditi Singh stated, "Using USB hard drives is incredibly inconvenient because you have to plug them into a specific slot, and they're also easy to lose. Datastickies completely solve these problems."
Furthermore, Aditi Singh and Parag Anand are considering developing complementary products and applications for the Datastickies product.
