The Ministry of Home Affairs will appoint many Deputy Department Heads after the recruitment exam results are available.

It is expected that on December 21, the candidates will defend their projects and after the results are available, the Ministry will immediately appoint them if there are no problems arising.

Regarding the organization of the recruitment exam for the position of Deputy Director at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mr. Pham Dinh Loc - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Home Affairs) said that the Ministry received 14 applications and assigned qualified candidates to write a project. The Council organized a written exam on general knowledge of state management on the afternoon of December 11. It is expected that on December 21, the candidates will defend their projects.

Of the 14 applications, 6 were for the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Training and Development of Cadres and Civil Servants. 4 were for the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Wages, including 3 civil servants currently working at this Department and one civil servant at the Department of Local Government. 4 were for the position of Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, all of whom were working there.

Regarding the recruitment exam for the position of Deputy Director of the Salary Department, Mr. Pham Dinh Loc said that due to insufficient number of candidates according to regulations, he had to leave a report and propose to the Ministry's leaders to hold the exam in the next rounds.

Previously, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued a plan to recruit 8 leadership and management positions at the department level and equivalent with 2 rounds of exams in 2017 and 2018.

Specifically, the first round of exams will be held in 2017 for 3 positions: Deputy Head of the Department of Training and Development of Cadres, Civil Servants and Public Employees; Deputy Head of the Department of Wages and Deputy Head of the Department of International Cooperation.

Round 2 exam in 2018 for 5 positions: Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry, Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry, Deputy Director of the Department of Local Government, Deputy Director of the Department of Legislation and Deputy Director of the Institute of State Organizational Sciences

Contestants include civil servants and public employees who meet the criteria and conditions for appointment and are in the planning of the recruitment position; currently working at a unit with a need for personnel appointment. Civil servants and public employees working at other units nationwide, if they meet the criteria and conditions for the recruitment position and are in the planning of a position equivalent to the recruitment position, are also eligible to participate./.
