Ministry of Home Affairs recruits many department-level leaders

Candidates must take a written test, present a project to assess the current situation and propose solutions for the unit's development.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued a plan to recruit leaders and managers at the Department level and equivalent in a number of units under the Ministry.

The positions to be recruited include Deputy Heads of Departments: international cooperation; local government; law; salary; training and fostering of cadres, civil servants and public employees.

In addition, the Ministry of Home Affairs also recruited a Deputy Director of the Institute of State Organizational Sciences, a Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Office and a Deputy Chief Inspector of the Ministry.

Candidates must take a written test and present a project, assess the current situation, analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the unit and propose development solutions... The written test is graded on a 100-point scale; the result is the average score of the members of the Examination Council.

Contestants include civil servants and public employees who meet the criteria and conditions for appointment and are in the planning of the recruitment position; currently working at a unit with a need for personnel appointment. Civil servants and public employees working at other units nationwide, if they meet the criteria and conditions for the recruitment position and are in the planning of a position equivalent to the recruitment position, are also eligible to participate.

Previously, the Ministry of Home Affairs issued guidelines for piloting innovation in selecting leaders at department, agency and division levels nationwide, with 36 ministries, sectors and localities participating.

According to the instructions, ministries, branches and localities are responsible for publicly announcing the needs and standards of the selected positions; when organizing the exam, there must be 2 or more people participating in the recruitment for a position.

Recently, the Central Organizing Committee organized an exam to recruit the Heads of the Department of Personnel Policy, Party Cells and Local Department III, and on October 1, the Committee's leaders presented appointment decisions to three successful candidates.
