Additional 321 billion VND to protect and develop rice-growing land

The Prime Minister decided to supplement 18 provinces with 321,636 billion VND from the central budget's economic expenditure source in 2014 to implement the policy of protecting and developing rice-growing land.

18 provinces received additional funding including: Ha Giang 7,462 billion VND, Lang Son 11,778 billion VND, Bac Kan 5,394 billion VND

The management and use of additional funds shall comply with current regulations.

For localities that have not been considered for additional funding to implement the policy of protecting and developing rice-growing land according to the provisions of Decree No. 42/2012/ND-CP dated May 11, 2012 of the Government, the Ministry of Finance shall synthesize and propose a report to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.
