Ministry of Information and Communications guides a number of important tasks to promote digital transformation implementation
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 6, 2022, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued Document No. 797/BTTTT-THH guiding a number of important tasks to promote the implementation of digital transformation in 2022.
The dispatch is sent to ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and People's Committees of centrally-run provinces and cities.
Implement policies and orientations on national digital transformation, especially the implementationDecision No. 749/QD-TTgdated June 3, 2020 of the Prime Minister approving the National Digital Transformation Program to 2025, with a vision to 2030 andDecision No. 942/QD-TTgdated June 15, 2021 of the Prime Minister approving the Strategy for e-Government Development towards Digital Government for the period 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; in recent times, ministries, branches and localities have made efforts to implement digital transformation and achieved many important results. 2020 can be considered the year of launching awareness of digital transformation, 2021 is the year of starting implementation, 2 experiences of digital transformation in the context of the pandemic, 2022 is the year of promoting digital transformation in the direction of taking people as the center, the whole people and comprehensively.
Document No. 797/BTTTT-THH requests ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to focus on promoting digital transformation in 2022 with the consistent orientation of bringing people and businesses' activities to the digital environment through popularizing the use of Vietnamese digital platforms, helping people and businesses directly enjoy the convenience and benefits of digital transformation. Specifically:
- Popularize the use of e-commerce platforms for people, agricultural production households, and individual businesses.
- Popularize the use of online teaching platforms, focusing on guiding people to proactively use digital platforms to serve the study and review of subjects in natural sciences, foreign languages, digital skills, and soft skills.
- Popularize the use of digital platforms to support personal health consultation, directly connecting people with doctors according to the provisions of law, and use digital platforms to support remote medical consultation and treatment of hospitals.
- Popularize the use of other digital platforms to serve people's essential needs such as communication, entertainment, travel, transportation, dining, and ensuring network information security.
- Popularize the use of online public services provided by government agencies at all levels to people and businesses.
- Popularize the use of digital platforms to serve the production and business activities of small and medium enterprises.
The Ministry of Information and Communications also requested ministries, branches and localities to focus on directing the implementation of 22 important tasks and solutions that are both medium-term and priority for implementation in 2022 to implement the above orientations.
Document No. 797/BTTTT-THH requests ministries, branches and localities to develop plans to implement tasks in 2022 (send the plan after approval to the Ministry of Information and Communications), focus resources on implementation, and periodically report quarterly to the Ministry of Information and Communications for synthesis and reporting to the National Committee on Digital Transformation.
