Allocate 2,000 billion VND for Quang Trung B area renovation project
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 27, at a meeting to discuss the land clearance plan for Quang Trung B area, Vingroup Corporation said it would invest 2,000 billion VND for phase 1 of the project.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.
Attending the meeting were comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, representative of the investor - Vingroup Corporation.
Quang Trung Area B was built in 1976 and completed in 1982, including 6 apartment buildings, 5 high-rise apartment buildings (including B1, B2, B3, B4, B5, B6), a total of 421 apartments with 1,684 people. Currently, the City Party Committee, Vinh City People's Committee, and Quang Trung Ward People's Committee have held meetings to disseminate the policy, established a Steering Committee for project implementation, organized work with Vingroup Corporation to clarify the project implementation plan, organized public planning at the cultural houses of the blocks, and organized the placement of field planning markers.
According to the city's report, 279/389 households (76.34%) have agreed to move, of which 76 households have agreed to the state's temporary housing arrangement; 221 households have arranged their own housing; and 92 households have not agreed to move (23.76%). The rental support for the 297 households that have agreed is from 4 to 7 million VND/month (depending on the population).
At the conference, the city requested the investor to coordinate with the City Land Fund Center to develop a draft policy framework for site clearance for the renovation project of Area B. After completing the draft, it will be sent to Quang Trung Ward for comments with the participation of organizations and Party cells. The investor, the City People's Committee, and Quang Trung Ward People's Committee will co-chair a meeting with the people to disseminate and answer questions about the site clearance policy.

At the meeting, a representative of Vingroup Corporation also informed about the construction progress after having a clean site as follows: Construction of technical infrastructure, kindergarten in 12 months, completion of resettlement housing in 24 months, construction of high-rise hotel and completion of the project in 36 months.
The investor has allocated about VND 2,000 billion in capital for the first phase of the project. Carry out site clearance, support temporary housing for 100% of households in Quang Trung Area B and demolish blocks of houses in 2018, and start construction of Area B from 2019. The investor also proposed that the People's Committee of Vinh province and city soon complete site clearance for Quang Trung Area B and direct units, organizations, and agencies in the area with assets or constructions.
The investor commits to invest in Quang Trung B area not only for commercial purposes but also for urban beautification purposes, contributing to creating a bright spot in planning and an architectural highlight for the city, becoming a worthy project.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked Vingroup for its attention and responsibility towards Nghe An province, believed in the prestige and brand of the investor, and acknowledged the significance of the projects Vingroup has invested in the area. Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong affirmed that this is a key and important project that needs to be implemented urgently for the project to be completed quickly.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong requested the investor to coordinate with Vinh city to have a complete site clearance plan as soon as possible. Assign the city to complete the site clearance task before December 31, 2018 and the two sides have a plan for Binh Minh Kindergarten before August 2018.
