Speaking three minutes before the National Assembly deputies asked questions, Minister Nguyen Ngoc Thien said that the recent incidents related to state management at the Department of Performing Arts and the General Department of Tourism, regardless of the cause or reason, are truly regrettable.

“This is a profound lesson for state and industry management. As Minister, I accept responsibility for these incidents,” the Minister said.

He said that the Ministry has been focusing on rectifying and overcoming existing shortcomings, innovating management thinking, improving personnel work, improving professional discipline, public ethics and management methods in performing public duties so that the state management work of the sector becomes increasingly effective.
