(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces' traditional day (October 15, 1945-2016), on the morning of October 12, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Military Region 4 Command, led by Major General Tran Tien Dung, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region, held a ceremony to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien relic site, Nam Dan district, Nghe An province.

Promoting the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the beloved homeland of Uncle Ho, over the past 71 years, under the leadership of the Party, Uncle Ho and the care and support of the Party Committee and people of 6 provinces in the area, the Armed Forces of Military Region 4 have always upheld the spirit of revolutionary heroism, solidarity, proactively overcome all difficulties, closely coordinated with local Party committees and authorities in the area to take care of building and consolidating the national defense, people's security posture, and solid defense areas.

The overall quality and combat strength of the three types of military forces of the Military Region are increasingly improved. Party work, political work; logistics; technical work and military foreign affairs tasks are actively, synchronously and with quality.
