Military Region 4 Command pays tribute to policy beneficiaries on War Invalids and Martyrs Day

(Baonghean.vn) - On this occasion, the Delegation visited and presented gifts to the Mental Health Nursing Area for War Invalids and the Provincial War Invalids Nursing Center with a total gift value of more than 110 million VND.

Towards the 73rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2020), on the morning of July 15, a working delegation of the Military Region 4 Command led by Major General Nguyen Duc Hoa - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in the province.

The delegation visited the Mental Health Nursing Area for War Invalids and the Provincial War Invalids Nursing Center - where many seriously wounded soldiers are currently being cared for, nurtured, treated and rehabilitated.

During the implementation of the tasks, the collective, officers and staff of the Center and the Nursing Area always proactively overcome difficulties, clearly define roles and responsibilities, and wholeheartedly care for the wounded soldiers.

Giving gifts and encouraging the wounded soldiers, the Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region expressed his deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of the wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and people with revolutionary contributions who devoted their blood and bodies for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

With the responsibility of the next generation, inheriting the glorious achievements left by their predecessors, the Deputy Commissar affirmed that the officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces of Military Region 4 will fulfill their responsibilities, carry out well the policy work, repay the gratitude, and repay the army's rear, in order to help policy beneficiaries reduce difficulties and integrate into life.

The Deputy Commissar also requested the staff of the Center to continue to pay attention and better perform the task of caring for, nurturing and treating wounded soldiers.

With authorization, Major General Nguyen Duc Hoa presented 11 million VND to the Mental Health Care Center for War Invalids (of which the Ministry of National Defense presented 11 million VND and the Military Region Command presented 6 million VND); presented gifts worth 6 million VND from the Military Region Command to the Provincial War Invalids Care Center; presented 48 gifts from the Ministry of National Defense, each worth 1 million VND to 48 war invalids.

On this occasion, the Military Region 4 Command authorized the Provincial Military Command to present 3 gifts, each worth 2.5 million VND to 3 policy beneficiaries with especially difficult circumstances in the province; presented 34 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to comrades who are war invalids and relatives of martyrs working at the Provincial Military Command with a total gift value of more than 110 million VND. The Provincial Military Command also presented gifts to the Center, Nursing Home and war invalids./.
