A community fanpage called "MERS-CoV Prevention" has just been launched by the Ministry of Health.

Following the instructions of Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Long, Deputy Minister of Health, the EOC Office, Department of Preventive Medicine, has established a fanpage for MERS-CoV prevention and control at the following address:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ph%C3%B2ng-ch%E1%BB%91ng-MERS-CoV/1455739481406295?fref=tsThis fanpage has regularly updated a lot of information, including directives and reports related to the MERS-CoV epidemic situation both domestically and internationally, which has attracted considerable attention from the public. As of June 15th, the Ministry of Health's "MERS-CoV Prevention and Control" fanpage had garnered over 2,900 likes from Facebook users.
The establishment of the MERS-CoV prevention fanpage was included in the World Health Organization's evening bulletin on June 12, 2015, and was recognized as an effort by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health to provide updated information, guidance, and recommendations to the public and communities on MERS-CoV prevention and control.
In addition to disseminating information on Facebook, the Ministry of Health's online portal also regularly updates information on MERS-CoV prevention and control at the following address:http://moh.gov.vn/news/pages/phongchongdichbenh.aspxand calls on individuals, citizens, and agencies to access, provide, exchange, and respond to information… to jointly contribute to the effective prevention and control of this dangerous disease.
