Vietnam women's volleyball team finalizes list to attend SEA Games 29

(Baonghean.vn) - Today, the coaching board of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team officially sent a list of 12 athletes and coaching board members to the General Department of Sports and Physical Training and the Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

Accordingly, experienced striker Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa will wear the captain's armband. The remaining athletes include: Pham Thi Kim Hue, Bui Thi Nga, Le Thanh Thuy, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Dinh Thi Thuy, Doan Thi Xuan, Ha Ngoc Diem, Nguyen Linh Chi - Nguyen Thi Hong Dao (setter 2) and Nguyen Thi Kim Lien - Bui Vu Thanh Tuyen (Libero).

In this sports festival, two veteran athletes of Vietnamese volleyball will participate as assistant coaches, Pham Thi Yen and Le Thi Hien. The person who will lead the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to participate in the 29th SEA Games is head coach Nguyen Quoc Vu.

Compared to the list of participants in VTV Cup, the only change in the list of participants in SEA Games 29 is the absence of Duong Thi Hen, replaced by Le Thi Thanh Thuy.

To prepare for the upcoming tournament in Malaysia, the Vietnam women's volleyball team had two friendly matches with Singapore; and participated in the VTV Cup 2017.

In addition, according to information learned by Nghe An Newspaper, it is likely that next week, Japanese expert Hidehiro Irisawa will return to Vietnam to accompany the Vietnamese girls after completing all related procedures and documents.
