Beauty accuses C. Ronaldo of almost raping her in the bathroom

Kathryn Mayorga, 34, was a promising model 10 years ago. She claimed that C. Ronaldo raped her in the bathroom at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas, USA on June 13, 2009.

According to a statement filed with the local court, Kathryn Mayorga said the two met at a nightclub and the Portuguese superstar invited her and a friend to a luxury hotel room. C. Ronaldo urged her to go into the bathroom with a jacuzzi, but the model refused because it could ruin her outfit.

The Juventus striker then asked Kathryn Mayorga to change her clothes and directed her to another bathroom to undress. While the girl was undressing, CR7 entered and asked her to have sex. "The plaintiff refused and said she wanted to leave the room and when she came out of the bathroom, C. Ronaldo took the plaintiff to the bedroom, got on the bed and tried to have sex but she refused and defended herself," the court documents described the incident.

Kathryn Mayorga said she reported the incident to the city police that same day and then hired a lawyer to negotiate with the Juventus star. 375,000 euros in exchange for not going public. The reason for this action was explained by Kathryn Mayorga's lawyer that she was still "fearful of possible retaliation and loss of honor if identified as a victim of sexual assault". This lawyer said that when she signed the agreement, she was "mentally incompetent" and even had suicidal thoughts. Currently, Kathryn Mayorga wants to clarify everything with the support of #MeToo - the movement against sexual harassment and violence.

"The information is false, they want to promote themselves with my name. However, that is part of my life, my work, I am a happy man and everything is fine," C. Ronaldo replied during a livestream on his personal page.
