Bosnia 3-1 Iran: Regaining some pride
The Bosnian players can return home with their heads held high after their 3-1 victory over Iran last night. This also means that Iran's already slim hopes of advancing have been dashed.

Bosnia's pride began to be salvaged in the 23rd minute. Star striker Edin Dzeko, after many disappointing performances in this tournament, scored with a powerful left-footed shot to open the scoring.
Dzeko's goal further fueled Iran's determination to retaliate. Unfortunately, the Asian team's efforts were thwarted by finishing. Even when they beat goalkeeper Begovic, the Iranian strikers couldn't overcome the crossbar. By the time Iran finally scored against Bosnia, they were already 2-0 down. The 2-goal deficit was restored just one minute after Iran celebrated their 82nd-minute goal.
