(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2014), on the morning of June 20, Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, along with representatives from the General Staff, Political Department, Logistics Department, Technical Department, Propaganda Department, and the Party Committee Office of the Military Region 4 Command, visited and congratulated Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, and the permanent office of the Military Region 4 Newspaper and the People's Army stationed in Nghe An.

Major General Tran Tien Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 4, and representatives from the Military Region presented flowers to congratulate Nghe An Newspaper.

Speaking to leaders and editorial boards of press agencies, Major General Tran Tien Dung acknowledged and highly appreciated the coordination of officers and reporters from newspapers and radio stations with agencies and units of the Military Region, in promptly and effectively disseminating information about the activities of the Military Region's armed forces, especially in carrying out military and national defense tasks; building regional defense potential; building safe and self-reliant communes, wards, and clusters ready for combat; training, building a regular army, instilling discipline, and mass mobilization work; preventing and mitigating the consequences of natural disasters... Through this, contributing to encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers to strive to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

In a meeting with officers and reporters of the Military Region 4 Newspaper, Major General Tran Tien Dung, on behalf of the Standing Committee and the Party Committee of the Military Region Command, acknowledged, commended, and highly appreciated the efforts and perseverance of the staff and reporters of the Military Region 4 Newspaper in proactively staying close to the grassroots and following the political events of the country, the army, and the armed forces of the Military Region to promptly and effectively disseminate information on tasks through both print and television.
