The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee approved the Plan for the Provincial Military Party Congress.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 14th, in Vinh City, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a conference to approve the Plan for the 12th Provincial Military Party Congress (2015-2020 term).

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee - chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were: Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Le Quang Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, standing committees of Party committees, directors of relevant departments and agencies, and members of the Provincial Military Party Committee.

Overview of the working session

The Provincial Military Party Committee is a grassroots-level Party Committee directly under the Provincial Party Committee, subject to the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of Military Region 4. The 12th Congress of the Provincial Military Party Committee (2015-2020 term) was selected by the Provincial Party Committee as a model congress within the provincial agencies, and by the Party Committee of Military Region 4 as a model congress within the six provinces under the military region's jurisdiction.

Comrade Le Ba Hung - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, delivered a speech at the working session.

Colonel Luong Hong Phong, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, reported on the work of directing lower-level congresses and the preparation for the Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term; presented a summary report of the draft Political Report of the XI Provincial Military Party Committee to the XII Provincial Party Congress; the review report of the XI Provincial Military Party Committee; and the personnel preparation for the Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term.

Colonel Luong Hong Phong reported on the plan for organizing the Provincial Military Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term.

The Provincial Military Party Committee has effectively disseminated Directive 36-CT/TW dated May 30, 2014, of the Politburo; the guiding directives of the Military Region; Circular No. 11 of the Provincial Party Committee; and Plan No. 895 of the Provincial Military Party Committee on Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 12th National Congress of the Party. The Provincial Military Party Committee currently has 30 grassroots Party organizations and 124 Party branches. To date, all 124 Party branches have completed their congresses; 10 out of 30 grassroots Party committees have completed their congresses (Party Committees of the Staff Department, Military School, Vinh City, Thanh Chuong, Que Phong, Anh Son, Tuong Duong, Cua Lo, Hung Nguyen, and Hoang Mai). The congresses were conducted seriously and in accordance with principles, creating unity in implementing the guidelines of the Central Military Commission and local Party committees.

At the conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and delegates contributed to the Provincial Military Party Committee's plan for organizing the congress (time, location, documents, personnel, etc.). Comrade Ho Duc Phoc, on behalf of the Provincial Military Party Committee, received the opinions and, based on them, continued to supplement and refine the preparation work, focusing on the content of the documents and regulations, and the program for organizing the congress; especially emphasizing the responsibility to strive for the successful organization of the 12th Provincial Military Party Congress (2015-2020 term).
