Wall takes revenge on tourists who pee in Spain
The Pamplona government will cover the walls with a special paint that when tourists urinate, it will splash back, soaking their pants and shoes in their own product.
Authorities in Pamplona, Spain, are going to paint the medieval walls of the city with a new paint called CK-Splashback, which is designed to make visitors' urine splash back onto the walls, wetting their shoes and pants. Locals have jokingly called these walls "revenge walls" because they can "pee" back on the people who urinate in public.

"The paint, invisible to the eye, was applied to the lower part of the walls during the San Fermine festival (the famous Running of the Bulls festival)," a spokesperson for the Pamplona city council told The Local. This type of paint has been used in Hamburg, Germany and San Francisco, USA before.

For a long time, the issue of tourists coming to Spain and urinating in public places, typically on the walls of public places, has been one of the things that upset the locals here. They complain about the foul smell and filth created by urine. Previously, the government also imposed many penalties on tourists who got drunk and urinated in public, but this situation has not been prevented. In 2015, 76 people were fined by the police, each fine up to 300 euros.
The city council said it had spent around 10,000 euros cleaning up the places where tourists urinated.
