On the evening of October 3, Bui Tien Dung caused a stir when he posted on Instagram a loving photo with his girlfriend. This photo was taken at the 24th birthday party of the Viettel Club midfielder on October 2. "My girl," Bui Tien Dung wrote in the caption. This is the first time Tien Dung has publicly posted a photo with his girlfriend.
In less than a day, the status of the Vietnamese Olympic "handsome guy" received nearly 80,000 likes and thousands of comments from fans. Many people praised Tien Dung and his girlfriend as a beautiful couple and wished them happiness. However, many female fans expressed "heartache" and "broken heart" when they learned that the central defender from Ha Tinh was "taken".

Tien Dung's girlfriend is Nguyen Khanh Linh, 21 years old. She is a former student in Singapore, currently living in Hanoi and owns a hotel in Bac Ninh city. Information about the two dating each other has been spread since the end of August when Khanh Linh shared many pictures of Tien Dung on her personal page and her statuses often received interactions from the handsome central defender.
