Dengue fever outbreak in Nghe An coastal area

(Baonghean.vn) - In addition to Dien Thinh with 18 cases, dengue fever has broken out in 4 more communes in Dien Chau district (Nghe An) with a total of 23 cases.

Up to now, Dien Thinh has had 18 cases of the disease in hamlets 1, 2 and 6 and dengue fever has broken out in 4 more communes: Dien Phu (1 case), Dien Ngoc (2 cases), Dien Lam (1 case), Dien Bich (1 case), with a total of 23 cases.

Currently, the Dien Chau health sector is vigorously implementing epidemic prevention work with solutions such as: Focusing on treating patients; closely monitoring the epidemic area; and mobilizing people to clear trees and kill mosquitoes.

With the current rainy weather making it difficult to spray chemicals, and mosquitoes breeding very quickly, the risk of a large-scale outbreak is very high.
