Hired for 500 million to collect a debt of 1.2 billion, H "terrorized" the debtor by texting, calling to threaten and throwing paint on the house. Thu Duc City Police investigated and arrested H, forcing H to clean up all the paint he had thrown...

On May 24, Thu Duc City Police, Ho Chi Minh City, verified and clarified the act of using red paint to splash into people's houses to "terrorize" them mentally for the purpose of debt collection by TTVH (born in 1994, residing in District 3).

Also on this day, Thu Duc City Police took H to the house of Ms. TKL (born in 1963, residing on Truong Van Thanh Street, Hiep Phu Ward) to force her to clean up all the red paint that H had splashed on the victim's house.

H cleaned up the paint that he had splashed on Mrs. L's house.

According to initial information, GTDT (born in 1988, residing in District 7) and D.VN (born in 1986, daughter of Ms. L) used to work together at a bank. Because they knew each other, T lent N 1.2 billion VND to do business. However, at this time, the epidemic broke out, business was at a loss, N could not pay the debt so she asked her mother, Ms. L, to help pay it and then ran away.

Ms. L paid her daughter's debt twice, however, by the third time, Ms. L was no longer able to pay the principal and interest. Up to now, the amount that N owes T is still 1.2 billion VND.

Thu Duc City Police continue to work with relevant people to clarify the incident.

After many failed attempts to collect the debt, T hired H for 500 million VND to help him collect the debt. After accepting, H continuously texted and called Ms. L to threaten her. On the evening of May 23, H rode a motorbike to throw paint at Ms. L's house and filmed it and sent it to T. Upon receiving the image, T texted H, "Why did you throw so little? Throw more!"

Discovering that her house had been splashed with paint, Ms. L went to Hiep Phu Ward Police to report it. The ward police organized an ambush and caught H when she returned with the intention of splashing paint again.

Hiep Phu ward police took H to the scene and forced H to clean the paint stains and return Mrs. L's house to its original state.

Thu Duc City Police detained H and brought related people to headquarters to take statements for clarification.
