Mr. Thuy excitedly said: My grapefruit garden has 250 fruit-bearing trees. Due to good care, the grapefruits are large and have beautiful skin. By the end of July, the grapefruits are ripe and can be picked and sold to customers to enjoy. Every day, customers from Vinh City and Thai Hoa Town call to order more and more, without having to bring them to the market. However, this year there are fewer grapefruits than last year, but the selling price has increased to 25,000 VND/kg (last year it was 20,000 VND/kg). It is estimated that Mr. Thuy's grapefruit garden will harvest over 10 tons of fruit this year. Mr. Thuy added: “Not only harvesting fruit, during the year I also sold more than 10,000 seedlings, by grafting branches. Each seedling sold for 50,000 VND. In total, my grapefruit garden this year harvested over half a billion VND!”

Quang Tien Ward currently has more than 12 hectares of grapefruit, of which more than 7 hectares have been harvested. It is known that although Quang Tien pink grapefruit has few fruits this year, the selling price is higher than last year, so grapefruit growers have a stable income. However, what Quang Tien grapefruit growers are concerned about is that many families are currently investing in grapefruit cultivation, which means that in 3 years, the output of Quang Tien pink grapefruit will be higher. If the consumption market is narrow, Quang Tien pink grapefruit will be difficult to sell. Therefore, from now on, the local government needs to find a solution to find a market for this grapefruit, which is considered a specialty of Thai Hoa Town.
