Nghe An Post Office strives for 2018 revenue of over 462 billion VND

In 2017, based on the key programs and plans, Nghe An Post Office has many synchronous and drastic solutions in production and business. Along with investing, upgrading and renovating the post office system, equipping more counters, signs, and equipment for production to improve exploitation and transportation capacity, the provincial Post Office also organized to review and adjust the shortening of mail routes in a more convenient direction; launched and applied many initiatives and technical improvements to production.

In 2017, total revenue reached 334 billion VND; the postal and delivery sector and postal finance sector still maintained the main proportion in the industry's service group, accounting for 35.7 and 47.9% of revenue, respectively.

At the conference, based on the assessment of production and business results in 2017, Nghe An Post Office set a target of 2018 revenue of more than 436 billion VND, target revenue of 462.3 billion VND; salary revenue of 225 billion VND, profit of 13 billion VND.

To achieve the above goals, the industry continues to propose many orientations and solutions, focusing on establishing a system, improving and providing public administrative services; improving the quality of service provision; organizing production and business reasonably; continuing to review the network, system of mechanisms, policies and internal regulations to perfect the management system, strengthen centralized management and apply information technology to production, rearrange labor in a more reasonable direction...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Xuan Dai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the production and business results of the Postal sector last year. Appreciating the efforts of the sector's staff, he also requested the sector to continue to innovate, improve service quality, perform well in public administrative services, and research and deploy some more public services such as lump-sum tax collection according to the province's policy and the sector's regulations.
