FIFA Rankings May: Not many changes
Brazil remains at No. 1 in the FIFA rankings for May 2017, which have just been released. There have been few changes this month, with India breaking into the Top 100.

This is India's best ranking in over two decades. Despite having a population of over 1 billion, their ranking is on par with Nicaragua, Lithuania and Estonia. It's no wonder their number one sport is cricket.
Brazil retained the top spot for the second month in a row after knocking Argentina off the top spot last month. Defending world champions Germany remained in third place, followed by Chile and Colombia, helping South America dominate the top five.

This month there were not many changes in the rankings, especially at the top when it was only at 24th place that a team had to change its ranking (Slovakia dropped one place from 23 to 24).
Vietnam is still stuck at 136th place on the FIFA rankings, 22nd in Asia and 3rd in Southeast Asia after the Philippines (127) and Thailand (129).
