All 3 family members died of suspected poisoning
Police suspect Mr. Linh committed suicide, his wife and son died of poisoning, the scene showed no signs of a struggle.
On the afternoon of December 12, Thu Duc District Police coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Police to examine the scene where Mr. Linh (49 years old) and his wife and 15-year-old son died in their house in alley 78 Chuong Duong, Linh Chieu ward.
The house was locked from the inside, Mr. Linh died by hanging, his wife and son were lying on the ground foaming at the mouth, suspected of poisoning.
"There were no traces of strangers at the scene, and the bodies showed no signs of a struggle. We suspect the husband committed suicide, but whether his wife and children were poisoned or voluntarily took poison will take time to clarify," said the investigator.

According to local residents, Mr. Linh is an electrician and his wife sells crab soup near their house. Yesterday, his wife and children were still happy with the neighbors, showing no signs of anything unusual.
"He is originally from Hue, gentle and somewhat rustic. Recently, I heard that his family was being asked for money by someone, but I didn't see them yelling or arguing," a person in the alley told the police.
That same morning, acquaintances knocked on Mr. Linh’s door several times but received no response. They looked closely inside and discovered that he had hanged himself, with the bodies of his wife and children lying on the floor.
