A fire broke out in a woodworking factory behind the Keang Nam building (in Cau Giay District, Hanoi), causing hundreds of residents to panic and flee with their belongings.

At approximately 9:30 PM on October 18th, a fire broke out at a woodworking factory located at Lot 5E, Nam Trung Yen urban area, behind the Keangnam building (Cau Giay district, Hanoi). The fire then quickly spread to the car garage, restaurants, and other businesses nearby.

At the time of the incident, dozens of nearby residents shouted to each other, quickly gathered their belongings, and moved to areas outside the fire to save their lives. The entire area, spanning hundreds of square meters with stalls made of lightweight materials and corrugated iron roofs, was quickly consumed by the raging fire.

Shortly after receiving the report, authorities arrived at the scene to carry out rescue operations. Officials believe the fire was likely caused by an electrical short circuit.
