Pham Phuong Thao's parents and relatives traveled more than 300km from Nghe An to Hanoi to celebrate her being awarded the title of People's Artist.

On the morning of March 6, singer Pham Phuong Thao and many other artists were honored to receive the title of People's Artist (NSND) from President Vo Van Thuong.

Pham Phuong Thao expressed: “I am very honored and proud to have marked another good milestone in my life. The title of People's Artist is also the greatest spiritual gift I give to my parents and those who love me. I will try to promote my role with the audience and society to be more worthy of the trust and recognition of the state as well as the love everyone has for Phuong Thao's singing.”

Congratulating Pham Phuong Thao on being recognized for her career achievements, Pham Phuong Thao's parents and relatives traveled more than 300km from Nghe An to Hanoi to celebrate her receiving the noble title. For Pham Phuong Thao's parents, this is a pride and honor that is difficult to describe in words. Last year, the female singer fulfilled her dream of building a new, spacious house for her parents in her hometown with her siblings. It can be said that during this time, Pham Phuong Thao was satisfied because she was able to do many things she wanted and dreamed of, and being awarded the title of People's Artist brought her complete happiness.

Pham Phuong Thao was moved when seeing the image of her parents coming to the Hanoi Opera House to celebrate their "little daughter" receiving the title of People's Artist. Growing up from Sao Mai 2003 with Third Prize in Folk Music and Most Favorite Singer, Pham Phuong Thao was soon loved by the public and became a prominent name in this music genre.

Right after the Sao Mai 2003 contest, in 2004 she released her first album 'A Heartfelt Song' and vol 2 in 2005 titled 'For Mom, for You and for Me'. Up to now, Pham Phuong Thao has continuously released albums and individual MVs. In particular, she has ventured into composing, quickly making her mark with many works with folk melodies chosen by many singers to perform such as: Chang vinh quy, Mo duyen, Chut tinh em gui, Muoi doa sen thom, Dat me ngay ve, Gai Nghe, Mong manh em, Cong me ve troi...

People's Artist Phuong Thao and People's Artist Mai Hoa proudly received the noble title. In the field of music, Pham Phuong Thao is the youngest singer to be awarded the title of People's Artist this time.
