After a stage accident in the US, singer Dam Vinh Hung returned to Vietnam early. He stayed home to actively recuperate, waiting for the day of recovery. He was diagnosed with a more than a month before he could walk normally and practice dancing.

Previously, on February 21, singer Dam Vinh Hung said he had an accident during his tour in the US. The male singer said that while performing a performance, he stepped up to a high position to interact with the audience. However, the area was not safe, and materials collapsed and crushed his leg. Dam Vinh Hung revealed that at the time of the accident, he was suddenly passive. "I was cut by debris in my leg, bleeding so much that I didn't know what happened. Everyone immediately took me to the hospital. The hospital bill in the US made me want to faint," he said.
Because the hospital fees in the US are very expensive, on February 24, singer Dam Vinh Hung decided to return to Vietnam for treatment. Accordingly, the Vietnamese community in the US has "exposed" the cost of Dam Vinh Hung's treatment for 2 weeks without insurance in the US, which could be up to 840,000 USD (equivalent to 20 billion VND) and he still has to wait to be treated, and even then he still has to return to Vietnam for further treatment.
The male singer said he felt very lucky to be able to return home early because medical care in the US is "extremely expensive", and after looking at the bill, he wanted to "faint immediately". "God has blessed me with good health. Even though I had an accident, I still think I'm lucky. I have to think positively so that people around me, especially my son, can rest assured about me" - he said.
If treated in the US, singer Dam Vinh Hung would have to spend up to 20 billion VND.
In addition, singer Dam Vinh Hung also shared videos that clearly recounted the story. He did not want some bad elements to take this opportunity to defame and distort his reputation, causing the public to misunderstand.
The accident forced singer Dam Vinh Hung to postpone all of his musical plans, including the concert "Ngay em den sao troi" scheduled to take place for 2 nights in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.
The singer sincerely apologized and offered to refund those who could not arrange their time according to the new schedule. He promised to recover soon to meet the audience again in May.
