Singer Dong Hung calls for help because of his mother's huge debt

On her personal page, Top 3 Vietnam Idol 2013 posted a confession begging for a singing career to earn money to pay off her debt.

A few hours ago, male singer Dong Hung suddenly shared about the tragedy of debt in his family because of his mother. "I beg you, I beg you not to lend my mother, Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep, any more money," Dong Hung begged the creditors.

To his mother, he was desperate: "I'm tired, mom, give me a way to live."

Dong Hung suddenly talked about his mother's loan sharking.

Along with the status, the Top 3 Vietnam Idol 2013 posted photos with his injured wrist. The male singer said that for the past 5 years, he has suffered enough bitterness and humiliation because of his mother's debts. "I beg you, please don't lend my mother money with interest anymore. I know that's how you make a living, but please leave my mother out of it. I'm so miserable, so tired," he said.

The 24-year-old singer confided that over the past years he has been struggling to pay off debt and his family has been broken. Now, he has to sing, pay interest, and support his younger brother's education. However, the 4 billion VND debt has not been paid yet, and he is having a headache because of new debts.

He was injured in a fight at home.

“Mom, please have mercy on me and my brother. The old debt is nearly 4 billion VND, and I still work hard. Why do you keep forcing me to take on new debts? People are gradually forgetting your son,” the male singer wrote.

Sharing with Zing.vn, talking about the injured arm, Dong Hung said that he attacked after a fight at home. He had to be hospitalized and had many stitches. "Currently, I am not conscious due to the effects of anesthesia so I cannot share much about the incident," Dong Hung said.

On his personal page, Dong Hung's post about his mother received sympathy and encouragement from many artists, relatives and friends. Female singers Uyen Linh, Van Mai Huong, Quoc Thien, and Trung Quan all wished him to be strong and try hard.

The image of Dong Hung with singer Phi Nhung was shared by him with a caption for his mother: "This is my idol".

This is not the first time Dong Hung has talked about financial difficulties. In 2014, answering Zing.vn, he said he was trying to work to pay off a debt of 14 billion VND due to his mother's business failure. At that time, due to pressure from creditors, his family was divided between the North and the South. He said that many times creditors came to collect money right at the performance venue.

Dong Hung was born in 1993 and gained attention after reaching the Top 3 of Vietnam Idol. Before that, he made a certain mark at Sao Mai Diem Hen 2012, winning the Promising Singer award.
